Here’s what else the press are saying about us:

Ride Magazine

The only things that really ADD VALUE are things like Scottoilers

Olly Crick – Performance Bikes Magazine

A performance bolt-on for the smart of thinking.

Andy Downes - MCN

I rinse my CBR600 after every ride then spray on some FS 365 Protector. It partially evaporates, leaving behind a protective film. The film neutralises any salt and stops the rot. I've used it for a year, it's a fantastic addition to my garage & I've not seen a hint of rust.

John Millbank - RiDE magazine

It's incredibly quick and easy to apply, and lasts amazingly well. I've always used WD40 before, which is good, but does tend to leave a bit of a sticky residue. This stuff is worth applying all year round, keeping your bike looking great and also protecting it from the road salt that can still be around deep into the summer.

Simon Brown – MCN

To make day-to-day maintenance easier I've fitted a Scottoiler to keep the chain lubed automatically.  So far it seems to be less messy than using ordinary spray on chain lube and the flow stops when you turn the engine off - so nothing dribbles all over the garage floor when the bike is parked up.

Scotty Kilmer - Crank It Up CBS TV

As a mechanic for the last 30 years, a biker since I was 18, and a TV car talk host for the last 3, I only wish there were more guys out there like you. I'm truly amazed that someone hasn't come up with such a great device before. Everyone hates the hassle of oiling and cleaning chains, maybe even more than the expensive pain of replacing chains and sprockets. The time it saves is simply amazing - and it works great.

Even non-mechanical bikers can easily install the Scottoiler in less than half an hour. No more worrying and losing sleep at night over whether your chain is oiled right or is about to snap and create a really dangerous situation (especially the speed I drive). The Scottoiler beats everything I've tried (and as a TV car talk show host, believe me, I get to try them all out).

Ride Magazine Test Reviews:

Verdict : Lifesaver for chains and lazy gits.

Verdict : Commonsense, economy and convenience.

After just three weeks of riding with a Scottoiler fitted to my bike I realised what an idiot I had been. Basically a Scottoiler drips oil onto the bike's chain from a special reservoir, ensuring is stays in A1 condition - and for a biker that's like a breath of fresh air.

For years I'd been pissing about with my bike's chain every weekend: tins of degreaser, scraping off black sticky mess, squirting on more black sticky mess. The chain was always covered in grit and muck, stretching and getting unbelievable tight spots - which always needed sorting.

Now, after 3000 Scottoiler miles, the difference is staggering. The chain needed no adjustment, was well lubricated with clean, grit free oil and the rear wheel and chainguard only had a thin film of spent oil on which washed off easily. The only maintenance needed was topping up the reservoir every 500 miles. In short, I love it and from now on every bike I own will have one.

Verdict: If you only fit one gadget to your bike this year make it a Scottoiler.

Biker Magazine

If you use your bike once a week or more, Buy A Scottoiler. There, I can't make it any more simple than that. Possibly one of the worst aspects of owning a chain-driven bike is the hideous task of having to deal with cleaning and lubricating the chain. Nasty, sticky spray-on lube that gets thrown all over the rear wheel and swing arm, and is frankly a pain in the arse to clean off, is no good to anyone. Scottoiler is a neat, clean, and practical answer to all that. It extents chain life, improves performance (a dry chain can rob 10bhp) and on top of that it keeps gold chains looking clean and shiny too.
