The BMW Motorrad automatic chain-lubrication system is available as an optional accessory for the BMW F800 R.

The RMV (Reservoir Metering Valve) sits neatly under the seat in its carrier and is easily accessed for filling, priming and adjusting the flow rate of the chain oiler. The single injector (see picture below) carries the oil to the injector which feeds it on to the face of the sprocket, where it is then centrifuged out onto the chain
