BMW Motorrad Kits

The official BMW Motorrad automatic chain-lubrication system is available as an optional accessory for the BMW F800GS, F650GS and F800R and is compatible with ECE and US models.  Scottoiler BMW motorcycle accessories are specifically designed to reduce chain maintenance whilst offering increased chain life and improved performance.

q_bg How does it work?

The Scottoiler vSystem, which is a vacuum operated chain oiler, is used as the basis for the chain lubrication system which is now available through BMW.  The system uses engine vacuum to open the flow control valve in the reservoir allowing the oil to flow through the dispenser assembly to the chain. The adjuster ensures the correct amount of oil is delivered to the chain and sprockets.

The Kit comprises the parts required to fit to the F800 GS, F650 GS and the F800 R including the Reservoir Metering Valve (RMV), specially tailored dispenser assembly and vacuum connections.

The kit also includes a riders manual which gives you tips on how to fill the system and adjust the flow rate.

Installation of the chain-lubrication system will be performed by BMW Motorrad technicians ensuring that the product installation is of the highest possible standard. The system can be installed in 1 to 1.5 hours.
