For packages over 2kg, we will send out orders via DPD courier service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DPD delivery<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>We are temporarily offering a DPD service in the UK to ensure a faster service for those who need it.\u00a0 This is a next working day service and goods will be despatched same day on orders placed before 1pm, subject to stock availabilty.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sending goods outside the United Kingdom may result in additional local customs clearance charges and taxes. Failure to pay these charges and taxes on arrival will result in the goods being returned to us. In such instances we will refund you for your order excluding delivery fees and we may retain a re-processing fee to cover our return costs and customs processing fees we will incur due to the failed delivery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Changes from 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0January 2021 \u2013 Brexit<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0January 2021 the UK left the EU. A consequence of this is that goods purchased from the UK for delivery in the EU are now subject to additional duties and taxes as well as increased shipping costs. As much as possible we have tried to minimise the impact of this on our European customers by offering 2 delivery options:<\/p>\n<p>Delivery Only Service \u2013 we will deliver your order excluding any customs clearance fees, import charges and taxes. When the goods arrive in your country you will be contacted by the delivery company to pay these additional costs directly to them before final delivery as the importer of record.<\/p>\n<p>Full Delivery Service \u2013 we will deliver your order and pay all customs clearance fees, import charges and taxes on your behalf in advance via the delivery company so you don\u2019t have to pay more when your order arrives. You as the customer will remain the importer of record. If goods are to be shipped to a business address via the Full Delivery Service, a valid EU EORI number is required for the shipment.<\/p>\n<p>Both delivery options are processed under the \u2018Delivery at Place\u2019 (DAP) Incoterm.<\/p>\n<p>We would advise you to check the cost of both delivery options before making your selection as the customs clearance fees, import charges and taxes can amount to quite a significant cost. If you are not entirely satisfied with your Scottoiler product you can return it to us within 30 days of your order for a full refund.<\/p>\n<p>For orders received between 1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0November and 31<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0December the return deadline is 31<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0January the following year to allow the purchase and return of gifts over the holiday period.<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for return, the item and packaging must be unused and in new condition.<\/p>\n<p>To return an item please follow these simple steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Package up your product ready for return \u2013 Please ensure package sizes are within these weights and dimensions: 2kg \u2013 45cm x 35cm x 16cm \u2013 (small parcel)<\/li>\n<li>Email us on\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sales@scottoiler.com\">sales@scottoiler.com<\/a>\u00a0to inform us of your intent to return your purchase<\/li>\n<li>We will email you back with a return label<\/li>\n<li>Print out the return label and affix it to the package<\/li>\n<li>Drop the package off at your local Post Office<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Once we receive your return we will process a refund to your original payment method for the product cost, the original delivery cost will not be refunded. Delivery 3-5 business\u00a0days for items we have in stock. If an item is not in stock, delays are normally between 10 to 20 business days otherwise it\u2019s not in stock from our supplier.<\/p>\n<p>The free shipping option might not be available for some products in northern region and remote location, but we will reduce your shipping fee of 14.95$.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0tracking number will be provided to you by email.<\/p>\n<p>Our cut-off time is 12:00 PM ET.
