Standard Shipping
Orders made on the website with a weight below 2 kilograms will by sent via Royal Mail by default. For packages over 2kg, we will send out orders via DPD. We have added an Express option at the check-out, orders will be sent with DPD when this service is selected. Same day dispatch cut off is 1pm.
Changes from 1st January 2021 – Brexit
On 1st January 2021 the UK left the EU. A consequence of this is that goods purchased from the UK for delivery in the EU are now subject to additional duties and taxes as well as increased shipping costs. As much as possible we have tried to minimise the impact of this on our European customers by offering 2 delivery options:
Delivery Only Service – we will deliver your order excluding any customs clearance fees, import charges and taxes. When the goods arrive in your country you will be contacted by the delivery company to pay these additional costs directly to them before final delivery as the importer of record.
Full Delivery Service – we will deliver your order and pay all customs clearance fees, import charges and taxes on your behalf in advance via the delivery company so you don’t have to pay more when your order arrives. You as the customer will remain the importer of record. If goods are to be shipped to a business address via the Full Delivery Service, a valid EU EORI number is required for the shipment.
Both delivery options are processed under the ‘Delivery at Place’ (DAP) Incoterm.
We would advise you to check the cost of both delivery options before making your selection as the customs clearance fees, import charges and taxes can amount to quite a significant cost. The Delivery Only Service, although much cheaper, may end up costing more than the Full Delivery Service when the goods arrive.

Packaging
As a business, we thrive to be as environmentally friendly as possible. This includes recycling and re-using packaging material in our outgoing postage.
Returns
We offer hassle-free UK returns with no hidden fees. If you are not entirely satisfied with your Scottoiler product you can return it to us within 30 days of your order for a full refund.
For orders received between 1st November and 31st December the return deadline is 31st January the following year to allow the purchase and return of gifts over the holiday period.
To be eligible for return, the item and packaging must be unused and in new condition.
To return an item please follow these simple steps:
- Package up your product ready for return – Please ensure package sizes are within these weights and dimensions: 2kg – 45cm x 35cm x 16cm – (small parcel)
- Email us on sales@scottoiler.com to inform us of your intent to return your purchase
- We will email you back with a return label
- Print out the return label and affix it to the package
- Drop the package off at your local Post Office
Once we receive your return we will process a refund to your original payment method for the product cost, the original delivery cost will not be refunded. Please allow up to 5 business days from your return being received for this to be processed.
