Contact Form

Registration of a user account

During checkout you have the option to create a user account. Registering an account will give you the option to save your billing and shipping address and to view previous orders. Registration is completely voluntary and not needed to complete the checkout process. Should you wish to delete your user account please use the contact form.

Email Newsletter and other communication

We use a third party provider, Mailchimp, to deliver our newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies including clear gifs to help us monitor and improve our newsletter. For more information, please see the Mailchimp privacy policy.

We will not trade or sell any customer details to any third-party organisations. We do send regular e-mails about best offers from the Scottoiler Shop. Should you wish to stop receiving these, there is a simple unsubscribe link in every email or contact us directly using the contact form.

Knowledge Base – Support Center

We use our own knowledge base to give you the best possible support. We gather anonymous information if you use the search function of the knowledge base.

 

Customers and product orders

If you place an order with us either through scottoiler.com or over the phone we will process your personal data and payment data. Your payment information is securely handled by third-party payment providers PayPal and Global Payments.

Your personal information including name and address is processed to complete your order and stored to comply with legal requirements.

Support, Warranty and Contact Requests

If you get in touch with us with a support or warranty question we will save your information for the time of processing your request. Some information such as warranty information and support requests will be stored for a longer time to enable us to have a full history of your support request over time.

Job applicants, current and former employees

All of the information you provide during the process will only be used for the purpose of progressing your application, or to fulfil legal or regulatory requirements if necessary.

We will not share any of the information you provide during the recruitment process with any third parties for marketing purposes or store any of your information outside of the European Economic Area. The information you provide will be held securely by us and/or our data processors whether the information is in electronic or physical format.
